Two dead after possible shooting incident in Jerome County

 

Deputies discovered two dead bodies in a Jerome County residence

Deputies were dispatched to a residence for a possible shooting incident, according to the Jerome County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies found a body on the floor upon arrival, according to the office. Deputies entered the home after attempting to get a response from inside.

Deputies located a deceased adult male and female, according to the office. Both individuals appear to have been killed by gunshots, one being self-inflicted.

The office said that this was an isolated incident and that there were no threats to the public.

The office will not release the names of the deceased at this time. The incident is currently under investigation.
